The first time we had qualified for 24 years and we all made sure we were going to enjoy it. I vividly remenber arriving into Benidrom (our base) and a large flag was draped from one of the hotel windows - NORTHERN IRELAND FEAR NO-ONE. Christ how right they were - had it not been for a dodgy offside decision against France we could have won the damn thing.

Still an amazing trip and those who were privileged to be in Valencia that night will remember it to their dying day - no need for me to try and elaborate.
